Bob & Tracey
We're Bob and Tracey, recently retired and happily making up for lost time when it comes to travel.
After years of staying in vacation rentals ourselves, we knew exactly what we appreciated as guests—and, perhaps just as importantly, what we didn't. When we discovered this home near Yosemite and Bass Lake, we saw the opportunity to create the kind of place we would want to find on our own travels: comfortable, thoughtfully equipped, easy to settle into, and special enough to feel like a genuine getaway.
We call Summerlin, Nevada, home, but Deer Creek Retreat quickly became a labor of love. We've tried to think beyond simply providing a beautiful house, paying attention to the details that make traveling with family and friends easier—from real beds for every guest to spaces designed for gathering, relaxing, and enjoying the mountains.
Bob is a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, class of 1985, and the friendships and sense of community that began in Annapolis have remained an important part of our lives. We hope Deer Creek Retreat becomes a place where old friends reconnect, families spend time together, and new traditions begin.
Most of all, we want you to arrive, exhale, and feel that someone thought about the details before you got there.
